Forest Bathing-medically proven benefits to health.

Forest bathing or shinryn yoku has attracted much attention, recognised to offer many health benefits including stress reduction and lowering higher blood pressure. Our retreat includes the option to learn a complementary tao yoga practices.

 

Retreat Program

Day 1

Arrival from 4pm. Introduction to the house and land with a meeting with Ram Chatlani to discuss your needs and the program. Evening meal served at 7.30pm.

Days 2 and 3

Light breakfast from 7.30am: fruit, drinks and light snacks. First guided forest walk in the morning between starting between 8.30 and 9.30am. Your introduction to bathing in and benefiting from natural restoration. A retreat with little talking, simple methods to benefit directly, effortlessly and naturally in nature. Brunch served around 11.00am. Free time until around 4pm when there is a Tao yoga, meditation or qigong session or, if you prefer, forest or river walking. You will encounter various forest types including pine and mixed hardwood. Our programs always respond to your personal needs-fluidity.

Day 4

Final forest walk or other chosen activity. Brunch served before departure by midday.

Prepare for your trip

Take a retreat to relax, to restore your composure and sense of well being and to have an opportunity to revitalise your energy while learning some practices that will support you in your daily life.

You will receive private tuition if you come alone, or as a couple or a group of friends, you will have instructions that are adapted to your immediate needs.

Shinryn yoku or forest bathing is becoming increasingly recognised as an excellent way to recover from stress, to revitalise and to deeply realx. Our program has the taste of Tao, the way of nature, of simplicity. A chance to meditate effortlessly, to practice or leran tao yoga or qigong. Your program will be adjusted to suite your preference and your level of experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Full board [light breakfast, brunch, four course evening meal, all drinks and snacks, wine included]. Single room with en suite bathroom, tuition in tao yoga or qigong, guided forest walks, use of bicycle.


Terms

Thirty per cent deposit on booking, non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of your chosen start date. We will waive this if you rebook for a date within 3 months. Balance payable in full 14 days before start date.
